Short-Term Village Concept Project

Do you want to share experience and culture? Or do you want to have unforgettable moment with the nice trip to the virgin beach and work with the societies, being volunteer and help them earning money for life?
Project department of IAAS LC-UB has another concept for VCP by having cooperated with AIESEC UB. However this concept of VCP is different with the existed Village Concept Project.
This short-term VCP is only done for six weeks. The location is in Kondang Merak, which is also the location for the existed Village Concept Project. The participant of this program could be form IAAS or AIESEC member. They will work as volunteer to the societies.
Kondang Merak is very beautiful virgin beach. There are only about ten families who stay in that area. Many of them work as fisherman for living. They go to the sea, do fishing traditionally by using net or traditional fishhook, and then sell it to the traditional market of consume it for daily need. Vegetables are less find. To get them, people have to buy it in other area which is far enough to reach; besides they have to pay expensive.
There is only one way to go there. It’s rocky in slope upward way. Maybe it’s the reason of why do people are have yet to find the location or not consider it as the aim for tour or for fun. And you can trust me; even you will not find the phone signal over there.
Our programs are making net for fishing, fishing (going to the sea), vegetable farming, and rabbit breeding. The participants will teach them about that kind of job so they must have the skills in related to those jobs.
Well, the participants neither come for work nor for apprentice, but they will volunteer for social job. They will guide or be involved them to those jobs.
